Tina Chase, MS, MFT
Collaborative Coach

Tina Chase, MS, MFT, is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist in Corte Madera, who has been in private practice since 1983. Her practice includes individual psychotherapy with adults and children, couple’s therapy, and working with families in high-conflict divorce and/or post-divorce co-parenting counseling. Her breadth of experience has included helping families deal with the psychological consequences of divorce, both for parents and their children. She is passionate about helping parents and their children grow and thrive by supporting the “ties that bind” and assisting if those ties become frayed.

As a mental health professional (divorce coach) involved in the Collaborative Process, Tina helps facilitate a respectful, thoughtful, transparent and dignified approach to the dissolution of your marriage with the intention of preserving the emotional well-being of you and your family. Her work revolves around building better communication skills, managing your emotions, and in creating a parenting plan that is enduring and complete.

Tina has been a co-founder of the Collaborative Association of the Capital District (in Albany, NY) and on its first board of directors; is currently on the board of directors of Collaborative Practice Sonoma (formerly Collaborative Council of the Redwood Empire); and is past president of the board of directors of the Marin chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. She has been a Clinical Supervisor at the Community Institute of Psychotherapy in San Rafael.

In addition, Tina has taught Divorce Options workshops and Collaborative Practice seminars locally and internationally. Her commitment to Collaborative Practice has been deeply held since she was trained in 2008, and is a reflection of her work with families over the entirety of her professional life.
